We are one of several recycling centers across Yorkshire & The Humber that collect redundant computers from local authorities, emergency services and business's for the training of long-term unemployed people, for discounted resale to the public and for giving free of charge to LOCAL charitable, voluntary and other worthy causes. All profits are returned into the community through the registered charity Chrysalis Youth & Community Project to further their work with providing an alternative education program to disadvantaged or excluded young people. We are members of the Regional Electronics Initiative (REI) We are members of the Community Recycling Network (CRN-UK). We have Waste Carriers & Brokers Exemption and Waste Management Exemption under the Environment Agency Hazardous Waste Regulations. We are also a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher. We are one of a small handful of refurbishers that have achieved ICER accreditation (Industry Council for Electronics Recycling) the industry’s highest accolade. We provide work experience places for local schools throughout the year. We are a Not-for-Profit Social Enterprise, putting something back into our community. |
